Please be invited to this workshop from Circular Circuits exploring how international standards can support circular economy implementation across organizations, supply chains, and value networks. This workshop takes place on the 16th November 2026 at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
As organisations increasingly adopt circular economy practices, effective coordination across supply chains becomes crucial. While existing standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 provide established management system frameworks, the newly developed ISO 59000 family aims to support circular economy implementation through shared guidance and business performance measurement.
We are researchers from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and are working with the Circular Circuits research project. We are holding a workshop that brings together firms from the electronics industry, researchers, and other stakeholders who want to make the transition towards circularity to discuss one key question: How can international standards help organisations coordinate circular economy practices across the electronics supply chain? Together, we will validate current research findings, identify coordination challenges, and explore how standards can better support collaboration, decision-making, and value creation within circular ecosystems.
Join us to exchange experiences, discuss practical challenges, and help shape the future for the next generation of circular electronics.
The preliminiary program for the workshop can be found here.
