The Circular Electronics Series is organized by research projects working to advance circularity across the electronics sector. It brings together experts, practitioners, policymakers, innovators, and industry leaders from different countries to explore how electronics can move from a linear model of production and consumption toward a more circular, resource-efficient future.

Electronics are essential to modern life, but their rapid growth, short product life cycles, complex supply chains, and increasing material demand create urgent environmental, economic, and social challenges. This series will focus on practical pathways to keep devices, components, and materials in use for longer, while reducing lifecycles impacts and improving resilience across the value chain.

Through a sequence of focused webinars, participants will examine topics such as eco-design, durability, repairability, reuse, refurbishment, responsible sourcing, take-back systems, advanced recycling, digital product information, and circular business models. Each session will combine research-based insights, real-world examples, and open discussions.

The series aims to create an international space for learning, exchange, and collaboration. By connecting perspectives from across research, industry, policy, and practice, it will support the development of scalable solutions that make circularity in electronics not only possible, but practical.

The first webinar is planned for 6th October 2026 from 9:00 – 12:00 h.
