How can we make electronics more reliable, longer-lasting, and truly circular?
On 24 June 2026, the next edition of Meeting Your Peers Engineers #8 will take place at Noviotech Campus, with a deep dive into:
♻️ Circular Electronics Reliability
The transition to a circular economy calls for a new generation of microelectronic systems: designed not only for performance, but also for durability, lifetime extension, reuse, recovery, and reduced e-waste.
During this session, experts from industry and academia will share insights from the Circular Circuits project with a special focus on:
🔬 Lifetime Extension of Micro-Electronic Systems
Together, we will explore the scientific and technological challenges behind electronics reliability, including:
– Lifetime extension of microelectronics in a circular economy
– Cu/Sn interconnect failure and void formation
– Transport phenomena and reliability
– Simulation and modelling for packaging reliability
– Sustainable metallization technologies for power electronics
A strong line-up of contributors from NXP, TU Delft, TU/e, Radboud University, supported by M2i will share research insights and engage in discussion with industrial peers.
